while i would probably change about...err...100 songs on that list, it only proves that VH1 have no taste.

          First good song.
It isn't the first good song on the list, but it is listed roughly 32 spots too low.

There quite simply are not 13 better songs from the last decade better than "Crazy". **** YOU, THERE AREN'T, YOU ARE WRONG VH-1.

Apparently plenty of hearing people agree with me about the Man in Black.

actually maybe i was a bit harsh. 'i try' by macy gray was really good, the whole album was in fact, 'get ur freak on' was cool, but then i am a big missy eliot fan, 'toxic' is a great pop song and 'drop it like it's hot' was very forward thinking in terms of production (shame about the lyrics, but then rappers, with a few notable exceptions, have had nothing to say for about 15 years).

I am pleased to report that, of the top ten songs on the list, I believe I have heard only "SexyBack," and then only because I was flipping through channels and saw an Animal Planet ad featuring the song. My ignoring-pop-culture plan is on track.

Kinda baffled that somebody thinks Seven Nation Army was not as good as that or American Idiot. And the Killers only made number 55? Weird. And as for Milkshake, Complicated, Oops I Did It Again...ick. Does anybody else always hear Avril saying "constipated?"

A guilty pleasure of mine. I don't like rap, but I do like this. Heck of a song.

                          2. OutKast, “Hey Ya!”
That's not a bad song. I remember it from the remake of The Flight of the Phoenix, when there was still some optimistic spirit in the team.

I liked "poker face" and "toxic" - does that make me a bad person ?

Though, there are a real catastrophe on that list - Bruce Springsteen - I mean, who the **** really listen to the crap he produces ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Hurt is a Nine inch Nails cover, the original song is from around 1994

Hey ya is a good song, but yes, a rather horrible list.
The last year I enjoyed mainstream music was 1998, and that year was the year in which of dozens of formerly successful alternative rock musicians put out albums which were commercial failures. In the late 90s maintream music changed.
