A lot of songs that are ****ty, quite a few which are okay-since-it's-part-of-my-youth-but-I'd-never-listen-to-it-more-than-once-in-a-very-long-while, and a meagre few which are okay. 70s and 80s, where did you go?
(the 80s had its fair amount of bad songs though, but it was a great decade all in all)

In the 00s, the good music were found outside the main stream. Neal Morse, Karmakanic, all the goodness of prog rock of the 00s, that's where the gems are found.
And old mainstream artists that is not regarded as in their prime, like Leon Russel and Elton John. That album they did was great.
