    I've had enough

    There are a lot of people I disagree with on here. There's been lots of flamewars on here, ones that I've been apart of.

    But I strongly believe there is a poster on this site that exemplifies willful ignorance, is consistently disingenuous, is truly intellectually dishonest, is disrespectful to the extreme, is inarguably mentally ill, and is frankly the most off-putting poster this site has ever seen. You know who I'm talking about.

    He's shown that he not only will not change, but he's actually getting more brazen over the years. It's intolerable.

    We can add him to our ignore lists, but his comments always derail threads and he's always quoted anyway.

    Would this site be better without him? I think so.

    I doubt the current site owner would ever ban him, even if most of the people here are tired of his antics.

      Maybe we can all agree to add him to our ignore lists and never engage with him.

        Okay. I am making a pledge to ignore his posts. I'm not sure what the repercussions of breaking the pledge should be though.

              I used to have similar thoughts but have come to realise that the poster in question is only a symptom of a wider problem at Poly. When the staff members are insulting the posters the rot is truly set in.

              I can put Ben on ignore. I can't ignore the staff.

                I don't see how I should be banned for doing what Asher did to me. Should he have been banned for what he did to me? No. Not at all. Did I call for his banning? No.

                Asher, I'm sorry you are unhappy with actions having consequences.

                Would this site be better without him? I think so.
                Last I checked we didn't get to vote on whether people can or cannot participate on the site. I do not like you, that doesn't mean that I have a right to ban you from the site, just because I don't like you.

                But you feel you have the right to ban people you don't like from Apolyton? Really, asher?

                Can you simply not even tolerate contrary opinion?
