The ones who are "taking one for the team" are the people who need medicaid. Why the **** would you be happy about poor people losing healthcare?

You don't need competent competition to beat Obama; he has nothing positive to run on. An inexperienced nobody (like Obama in 2008) would actually have an advantage over a competent and experienced pol, as Obama is going to have to rely on negative attacks on his opponent's record and nobodies don't have records to attack (again, like Obama in 2008).

There's still a lot of time. Predicting who wins a presidential election is essentially like predicting markets. (Not just because the direction of the markets around election time is going to play a huge role. Remember that there can be extended rallies even in recessions/depressions.)

I remember when Bill Clinton had superavit and said something like, in 10 years America will be free, meaning, will have no debt. People were thinking of how the market with a debtless USA would work.

I frankly think the tax cuts were a good idea, especially the capital gains cuts and so forth. The only problem with them is that they weren't accompanied by spending cuts.
