Btw, I just noticed something in the article. The image #2 is of the SU, the youth organization of the Socialistic Left party(SV)! The youth killed were from AUF, another party on the left, slightly more moderate.

Reading this article it's apparent that Breivik suffered from a Paranoid Disorder. He ravelled an elaborate web of delusions around him, believing that he had at one time heroically defeated a gang of muslims, that he had been mentored by one of Norway's major businessmen, that he had at one time almost been the Progress Party's candidate for mayor of Oslo, that he had been one of Norway's most successful young businessmen and that he was a member of a secret organization called the Knights Templar. All patently untrue. Crazy? Sure, except for one thing. He kept this system of delusions all to himself. Doesn't that imply that at some level he knew his delusions weren't real? I think that the whoile decade long plan to attack the Labor Party was a psychological device which he used to justify to himself keeping his system of delusions a secret.

For the record, for those who couldn't guess, Steyn is a hardcore Christian.

Steyn's grasp of the complex reasons for the civil war in Bosnia, going by that quote, is extremely feeble. It actually mirrors the Norway Nutter's feeble understanding of the conflict in Kosovo.

(I'd never heard of this Steyn guy, tbh, but the three minutes research I just did strongly suggests that he's an idiot.)

They're not actually facts, though. The civil war in Bosnia was not an attempt to exterminate an enemy because of demographics, it was a bloody land-grab between three sides with seperate interests which was actually very nearly averted peacefully in the first place. I really don't want to get deeply into a discussion about the Yugo-wars on this thread, but what passes for analysis from Steyn there is simply rubbish.

You lack knowledge if you think that is something special. Firstly, the left parties is where most immigrant kids go if they want into politics, secondly a lot of the kids who were at Utøya was from Oslo, where ca 15% of the inhabitants of Norway live. And in Oslo, the immigrants and their children numbers ca 30%+ of the inhabitants. That does not include the kids of the second generation IIRC.
