Do you find the argument unconvincing? Do you believe that discriminating against someone because they want to marry their homosexual lover wrong, but discriminating against someone because they want to marry both of their homosexual lovers at the same time right?

Polygamy is different because the concept of consent is ambiguous. Frequently (and not always), polygamy is actually more of a cult-like situation where the women are brainwashed or culturally forced into the behaviour which is obviously an unequal relationship to favour the man.

It's in a fundamentally different category than consensual partnership.

Consent's pretty easy to establish, this argument could be placed against any marriage between anyone at all.

I also think that alcohol and pot should both be legal. Sadly the legal status of alcohol has not caused marijuana to be legalized because not everyone shares my opinions.
