When I was about 18 years old, in the Navy, In San Diego.
I made friends with a guy who's family was from Peru and another guy whose was half german-half american indian. How do I know? Because the half german guy brought up our backgrounds and made it a point to talk about how diverse the three of us were. So one night we went out and got really ****ed up. The half german guy passed out, so we were trying to get him out of the car when he exploded and tried to attack both of us. He was screaming "****** don't touch me!!" and wetback this and wetback that. The Master At Arms(Navy Police) arrested all three of us. That's just one of many incidents I have had with racism. I have also seen some of my friends treated cruelly due to homophobia. So honestly, I don't think that racial slurs or gay jokes will lead to equality, friendship or any bonding of any type. Well yes if you are in the KKK or some other hate group. As a black guy I don't feel like having a beer with a white guy that calls me a ******. I can't think of any black guy that would. I also don't want to have a beer with a white guy that refers to hispanics as wetbacks. I think that your willing use of racial/homophobe slurs reveals underlying feelings Oerdin. And your assertion that being chinese means you can cook chinese food is racist. Your assertion that as a white guy you expect your chinese food to be prepared to your white guy tastes by a chinese person is laughable. You must love Charlie Chan movies.

What do you do with a DON RICKLES? He makes fun of every ethnicity. Is he a racist? After listening to him for decades, I don't think so. If anything I think he loves everyone. Yet, he uses almost every racial slur in his acts. It's obvious that he isn't PC at all, but do you consider him a racist?
