Alby, don't listen to this clown. Oral contracts for repayment of a loan are routinely enforced, and unjust enrichment would suffice in any event. Particularly in the likely event that she doesn't reply to summons and all allegations are deemed admitted, but even if she does reply and denies it, your word could well be believed over her perjury.
The problem is that even $300 may be too low to bother with a small-claims filing fee unless you know where she works, in which case she'll pay your principal, statutory interest, and filing fee for however long it takes. Finding her is the hard part, not the process.
That being said, although I don't know anything about Pennsylvania small claims, in many states it's possible to serve by first-class mail to a last-known address and get a judgment whether she got actual notice or not. It may be worth looking up those statutes and seeing if you could at least get the judgment first and ask questions later.
