Yeah, Catholics are better because their terrorists are at least incompetent terrorists. You'll notice that's precisely the point where I said "screw it" and gave up...

More Catholics were executed by Elizabeth than the total executed by Mary, yet it is Mary who is the 'Bloody' one.

Actually, no, I misremembered, it was a Greek puppet, not a foreigner. As it happens, I was just reading excerpts from The Orthodox Church by Timothy Ware, now known as Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia. Here's what he says about the Fourth Crusade:
But worse was to follow in 1204, with the taking of Constantinople during the Fourth Crusade. The Crusaders were originally bound for Egypt, but were persuaded by Alexius, son of Isaac Angelus, the dispossessed Emperor of Byzantium, to turn aside to Constantinople in order to restore him and his father to the throne. This western intervention in Byzantine politics did not go happily, and eventually the Crusaders, disgusted by what they regarded as Greek duplicity, lost patience and sacked the city. Eastern Christendom has never forgotten those three appalling days of pillage. "Even the Saracens are merciful and kind," protested Nicetas Choniates, "compared with these men who bear the Cross of Christ on their shoulders." What shocked the Greeks more than anything was the wanton and systematic sacrilege of the Crusaders. How could men who had specially dedicated themselves to God’s service treat the things of God in such a way? As the Byzantines watched the Crusaders tear to pieces the altar and icon screen in the Church of the Holy Wisdom, and set prostitutes on the Patriarch’s throne, they must have felt that those who did such things were not Christians in the same sense as themselves.
Constantinopolitana civitas diu profana — "City of Constantinople, so long ungodly": so sang the French Crusaders of Angers, as they carried home the relics which they had stolen. Can we wonder if the Greeks after 1204 also looked on the Latins as profani? Christians in the west still do not realize how deep is the disgust and how lasting the horror with which Orthodox regard actions such as the sack of Constantinople by the Crusaders.
So, yes, we totally appreciate the Catholic assist.

as i have already pointed out in my previous post, catholics do not automatically support a united ireland. in fact more support continuing the union, rather than uniting with ireland or independence. so it is irrelevant if the number of catholics surpasses the number of protestants at some point in the future.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

The Pope explicitly forbade them from attacking Christian lands, and they were going to go to Egypt. Is it bad that they sacked Constantinople, yes. But Angelos promised to pay them and when he was put on the throne discovered that he could not pay the Crusaders what he had promised. Then they sacked the city.

Most are voting for Home Rule. Clearly they are unhappy with the status quo and want greater autonomy from the UK.
look up the good friday agreement. what northern ireland has is a devolved government with a power sharing arrangement between the two largest parties (sinn fein and the democratic unionist party)."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

Elizabeth was on the throne for 45 years and only tended to execute catholics after uprisings trying to overthrow her. Bloody Mary was on the throne for 5 years and burned about 300 people to death. Stop being a tool.
Elizabeth was also very insistant on burning recusants, anyone who openly practiced the Catholic faith.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

What do you mean by Catholic terrorism?
If you mean terrorism because of religion, I don't think it applies to the Irish issue. The terrorism there is about expulsing people whom they see as invaders or descendants of invaders, not as natives who belong to the land. It is more similar to what happened in Algeria with the natives Algerians and the millions of French Colonists who moved there during French colonial rule. The French colonists were colonists but no one saw the conflict as muslims expulsing catholics, it was algerians vs pieds noirs.
If France had decided to focus all the Pieds Noirs on some small area of Algeria and keep that land, the situation would be very similar.
The English and the Scoth Irish are invaders, the irish tried to expulse them like the algerians did to the French, or if we go very far back in time, the Egyptians with the Hycsos, the Irish partially failed because the invaders kept as part of the country.
If what you mean is terrorism done by Catholics, just look at Colombia or Central America or Brazil and you will find some excelent drug dealing based terrorism done by people baptized as Catholics.I need a foot massage
