Now after some reflexion I doubt this is a good days for America or the world/universe/whatever. Think about it, if Obama can successfully send out people to kill OBL he can basically send out deathsquads after anyone!

I doubt that the pakistani military knew where OBL was. No secret that large can remain a secret for that long. I think the so called "co-operation" was the US paying lip-service to pakistani sensibilities for another attack on their soil. This way, the pakistani military look less pathetic or, worse yet, complicit.
