I suggest strongly that you invest in a car.
Good advice. That sounds like a pretty secure investment if you live in the ghetto.

Yes, especially considering how cheap cars are in the US.

I've lived in crapsack areas before. The car gives you access to opportunities outside the ghetto.

They are especially cheap and helpful in the US as opposed to elsewhere. You can get something decent used for a couple of grand.

You guys are awfully used to them too. Every time I go to the U.S. and ask directions in a city, people tell me to get a cab or the subway if it's more than a mile.

Fair enough, doesn't insurance cover theft?

well albie, if you live in the hood, i heard of this job opportunity in public transport. what you do is, you drive around in a bus, and ask good-looking ladies if they'd like to act in a documentary. then you tape your adventure with them and release it on www.AlbiesBanana.com

                        • Yeah, maybe he actually did get a job related to finance after college, lives in a mansion with a couple of nice cars and after getting bored with drinking liquor and ****ing women decided to come back to Apolyton so he could troll people on the internet.

If Albie is going away to the Marines in 5 months and doesn't need a car, why should he buy one? That would be a complete waste of money for him, not to mention the hassle of dealing with a car in an urban area (I've done it, it's a pain), and then having to get rid of it once he leaves.

If these are the kinds of decisions you make with your money, no wonder you're poor.
