Once you get settled in, you should be able to up the 5% some.

I never look forward to days when a majority of it is on the phone with Mumbai or the equivalent. If I didn't want to have to pay attention to someone that doesn't know what they're talking about, I could just stay home.

I am hoping the 5% does increase. Although it probably won't for a while.

My new task is to audit our code and identify areas to be refactored, as well as provide estimates for how many person-hours it'll take to implement a litany of features they want for the next version.

In a month or two I may get to code again, once this train starts rollin'.

Although now I can't take the high road on employment with Alby as I still don't have a job locked down myself for this summer. Job I had planned on (one I had last summer) no longer exists because of the continuing resolutions (**** you democrats). And I have a relatively short summer since FCPS lets out in June but I'm going to college next year.

My promotion was effective today, and I spent 75% of my time in meetings and the 20% of my time arranging meetings (hard to schedule meetings with people in Calgary, Ottawa, and Mumbai), and 5% of my time coding.

Once you get settled in, you should be able to up the 5% some.
