The solution is to drive a beater, that no one wants to steal.

Yeah, maybe he actually did get a job related to finance after college, lives in a mansion with a couple of nice cars and after getting bored with drinking liquor and ****ing women decided to come back to Apolyton so he could troll people on the internet.

I guess that can give him some consolation about his crappy job and ghetto apartment.

well albie, if you live in the hood, i heard of this job opportunity in public transport. what you do is, you drive around in a bus, and ask good-looking ladies if they'd like to act in a documentary. then you tape your adventure with them and release it on www.AlbiesBanana.com

Fair enough, doesn't insurance cover theft?

You guys are awfully used to them too. Every time I go to the U.S. and ask directions in a city, people tell me to get a cab or the subway if it's more than a mile.

Yes, especially considering how cheap cars are in the US.
They are especially cheap and helpful in the US as opposed to elsewhere. You can get something decent used for a couple of grand.

That sounds like a pretty secure investment if you live in the ghetto.

Good advice. That sounds like a pretty secure investment if you live in the ghetto.

Since you don't respect the job and simply feel you "owe" the franchise for the "break" they gave you, here's what I suggest:
Go to your boss, tell him that this isn't working out for you. Suggest to him/her that you could work regular hours at the counter (the $10/hr gig), but that you can't do the current gig due to other commitments.

If they can't see that, tell them you understand and give them two weeks' notice. Easy.

Oh, and stop posting that crap about your concern with America's obesity problem. YOU applied for the job.

Alby, it's very important that you realize that this operation has exactly zero loyalty to you. Which is exactly what they deserve in return. Trust me, they would not hesitate to chop you off at the knees if it profited them, no matter what promises they had made previously.

Not trying to hit you when you're down, but I find it incredible that you propose giving more common human decency and consideration to a corporation paying you $9.70/hour than you can muster toward an actual relationship with a woman. Sorry if that hurts, but that's sure what it looks like from here.
