It was a foregone conclusion I would need to work eventually. That eventuality arrived so I called up the guy on Thursday, had interview Monday, promoted on Tuesday, and will start on Wednesday.

I haven't even started working yet but just got a call saying that my promotion to Assistant Manager was approved.

I'm actually a little concerned because I did not disclose I was planning on leaving in October. They may have long-term plans for me and I'll be screwing them by only working 5 months. Am I being unethical?
