The short, awesome guy is still there. Anyone remotely associated on friendly terms with Sean Bean is likely dead though.

quick question:
I've only seen season 1 of GoT.
If I tried to watch a new episode, would all the characters be different due to the massive amount of dying?

Silly Lori and rah
People aren't important because they're people; they're important because they entertain us.

x-post, yeah what lori said
Why wouldn't he get a bit upset when people keep bringing up that he might die?
It would lead me to believe that their more about reading than about his actual health.
Would you like it if people kept mentioning that they were worried that you might die before you finished work for the day?

Maybe because the bad part about him being dead is that he's dead and not that we didn't get to finish reading some books.

I'm just curious why an obese old man who doesn't look in the best of health is pissed people are worried he might die before finishing the series given his procrastination streak. Fat people are supposed to be jolly.Originally posted by Guynemer View PostGood for George. He isn't our *****; he can write when he wants, how he wants, what he wants.

Brandon Sanderson is a better writer than Jordan ever was. So while I was sad when Jordan passed, his series didn't really suffer.

Angry obese guy pissed fans are worried he might die before finishing his work:
http://www.mediaite.com/online/game-...eries-fck-you/George R.R. Martin: **** You If You Think I Won't Finish the Series
George R.R. Martin, the 65-year-old author of A Song of Ice and Fire, isn't exactly the fastest writer, much to the chagrin of fans who've gotten used to waiting years for their next fix. And then there's the nightmare scenario: What if GRRM dies before he completes the seventh book?
Well, ol' George has two words for anyone who brings up that depressing possibility: "**** you."
"I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health," he said, in an interview with the Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger, "So **** you to those people."
He punctuated his point with a middle finger.
But fantasy nerds have been burned before—R.I.P. Robert Jordan—and Martin's books are so beloved that a certain segment of the internet goes on edge whenever he's seen in public instead of hunkered down to finish The Winds of Winter.
But whether he wins or he dies—those are the two options when you write Game of Thrones, obviously—it bears repeating: George R.R. Martin is not your *****.

You'd be hard pressed to find another dwarf actor remotely as talented as Peter Dinklage simply from statistical improbability. He's indispensable.
