Speaking of, I'm curious as to your opinion (if any) and nickname (if any) of Tormund, the magnificently-bearded redhead leading the wildling raiding party.

I hadn't named him yet. This show throws a multitude of new characters at the viewer, and most of them simply vanish again- so it takes a while before they get considered memorable.

He's not a bad character. Nothing's irritated me about the character or the acting, and the beard is nothing short of magnificent. So, prompted by your query, he is now The Mighty Bushface.

Tickled as I am to learn that we can look forward to more emus in the show (you can never have too many), I'd be happier if one of the multitude of things he threw in was a proper story arc for Perkytits.

Don't hold your breath. Dreary Daenerys peaked when she nicked that army and it's all downhill from now on as far as interest goes. Though I expect HBO will find a way to make it less boring to all except extreme detail enthusiasts.
