I've got the 12th in the pool, for leaving the country.

Only if he actually leaves the country.

Besides, if he does step down in favour of Sulieman, is that going to satisfy the crowd or encourage them to go after him as well?

I comprehend all right. He may step down, but I highly doubt he'll be leaving the country permanently - certainly not on the 12th of February - just to reiterate.

Nice to see Wezil's not ignoring me after all he said - can't even get that right!

                          • So, next predictions...

Is this actually the end of Mubarak, or just a bunch of rumours?

Is Mubarak-lite replacing him, or the Army?

Will there be democratic elections before September, in September, or later now because of this potential extra step in the transfer of power?

Is Mubarak still in the country or has he left already?

If he leaves, where is he going to go?

So many possibilities! Who wants to start predicting what happens next?

Mubarak steps down, army takes over, people not happy with that, lots of blood...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards

AFAIK they have been in power since Nasser. What will be the difference? There's been a state of emergency for 30 years! WTF?
