Here in the USA, this is true (though I wonder if the numbers change if you adjust for socioeconomic factors like $ and education). Noting the statistical reality doesn't explain anything, though. Why is it so? Is it because they're poor? Because of the US's history of oppression and institutional racism? Both? Neither? Because they're just bad seeds?

I can't answer those questions. I have just enough wisdom to know I don't know. You seem pretty sure, though, which tells me you're a moron.

You really think once a loud alarm goes off in a neighbourhood and once the police are automatically summoned that the intruders are still going to enter, murder the occupants, and steal the big-screen?

When we lived in the USA, we had an attempted break-in. The alarm went off, they fled. We just ended up with a broken window.

That is good. That is what I hope my system will accomplish. A pain generator can be a wonderful deterrent.

It can be defeated with a good pair of earplugs. The response time of the police is another consideration. If you know that, you know how much time you likely have.

But higher volumes of guns in your country means higher percentages of those crimes being committed with guns. Which is almost always far worse.

Even with guns they only kill, what, 20k a year? They are nowhere near as efficient as the war criminals in the Pentagon. Yes it matters, but there are bigger priorities that wouldn't require a constitutional amendment.

Just for clarity, if my alarm goes off, I'm arming, hunkering down, and calling 911, which the alarm company should already be on top of.

That's "politically incorrect" in the same sense that inhaling industrial solvents to get high is a "debatable lifestyle choice."
