Well, they have a road map now. Thank-you, Mr Assange.

Some people just read too much fiction.

You have to be some kind of retarded to think the nuclear plants, oil pipelines, etc were never on their radar before. These people are not as dumb as you think they are.

They attack the symbolic things (WTC, Pentagon, White House, CN Tower, Parliament, etc) not because they would cripple the country (they won't), but because they are symbolically extra painful for the populace. It hurts the pride more than anything else.

It's not that they didn't know that Nuclear Plants existed before, it's that they're not a symbolic a target.

And I'm sorry, the vaccine factory in rural Quebec is now not a big symbolic target. Most people still wouldn't be nearly upset about that as an attack on more symbolic buildings.

Life should be interesting enough without manufacturing drama and random histrionics.

    • Even a dude named Wiebo knows that bombing oil pipelines is the way to go.

The economic effect of 9/11 was far higher than originally estimated.

        Pride doesn't cost $500 billion. http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/business/Study-bin-Ladens-Strategy-Was-Short-Lived.html

It wasn't because of the loss of the buildings. It was the loss of faith and the loss of sense of peace that cost the US billions.

Also, the fact that you now need to have your ass fingered by the TSA no doubt damages your economy. The extra long lineups damage productivity to the tunes of billions also, I'm sure.

My point remains proven. Americans have damaged their own economy by their fear after 9/11. The planes didn't tank your economy, you did.

            • You're being obtuse (deliberately, I have to assume).

I have not mentioned the hydro projects, pipelines, or nuclear facilities a single time (until now). I have mentioned the medical and manufacturing facilites that I had no idea of being important to the Yankees.

And yes, the vaccine plant in rural Quebec is so a symbolic target. They have hit the great Satan where it hurts when they blow it up. 'Why is it impoortant, Khalid?' 'Because the son's of diseased donkeys told us themselves, Abu!'

              • All of those things they mentioned are not a big deal. Raytheon can make the AGMs in other countries, they just get government incentives to do them here. There's nothing Canada-specific about them.

                Ditto the vaccines.

I'm not being obtuse, I'm being realistic. They're not going to bomb a vaccine plant in rural Quebec if they attack something in Canada. It'll be Union Station, the CN Tower, Parliament, or Don Cherry's desk.

BTW, they have attacked the oil facility in Saudi that is on the list.

And they've been talking about possible oil facility attacks in Canada ever since 9/11 too. There's a huge amount of security around the Alberta oil sands projects. You may not even know this, but the US government partially funds their security.

It's also been in the media before about how they may be a target. I don't recall you throwing a tantrum there about how they now let the terrorists know we have oil production facilities in Canada...I also don't recall them being attacked.

                    • As for something like Raytheon...again, not at all secret. I drove by the big, massive ****ing "RAYTHEON" sign by their campus off the busiest highway in North America hundreds of times. If I know what kind of stuff they make, I'm sure Al Qaeda does as well.

Who are you kidding when you think these things are secret?

An optical factory in Quebec was not, until now.

Aye, a company called Missile Thales Optronique -- it was a complete secret what kind of product they made.

Nevermind that most people should know that Thales is an aerospace defense company...and then there's that cryptic word "Missile" in its name. http://www.thalesgroup.com/

                              Somebody hacked the Thales website!!!!

It shows ALL OF THEIR FACTORY ADDRESSES IN CANADA!!!!!

                              ****!

It was also completely top secret what kind of stuff they worked on there, incase the word MISSILE did not give it away.

The evil infidel spies have infiltrated many news websites, as they openly talk about which company in which city manufactures which components of weaponry!

The Mirabel thermal imager has been developed for the Eryx missile system by Thales (formerly Thomson-CSF) Optronique of Guyancourt, France, and AlliedSignal Aerospace Canada Inc (now Thales Optronics Canada), of Montreal, Canada.
"Eryx is wire-guided, and optically tracked."

Mirabel's modular design allows it to be clipped on to the system's existing direct view optic sight without any need for boresight alignment.

The thermal imager has a field of view of 8 x 6° and it operates in the long-wave (8-12 microns) infrared spectral band. Weight is 3.5kg.

In June 2008, MBDA placed an order with Sagem Defense Securite for 300 new-generation thermal imagers for Eryx firing posts. The new long waveband sight uses uncooled micro-bolometer technology and has a 320x240 focal plane array with a recognition range of more than 600m. It weighs 2.8kg.

Basic training for the Eryx can be conducted using the Eryx Interactive Gunnery Simulator (EVIGS), produced by Simtran, Montreal, Canada.

For advanced training, Solartron Systems, a division of Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando, Florida, have developed the Eryx Precision Gunnery Simulator (EPGS), an outdoor laser-based trainer. EPGS has been selected by the Canadian Army to provide precision gunnery training for the Eryx system, with a requirement for 54 systems.
If I could discover all of this in 5 seconds of googling, it surely would be impossible for anyone else to find this. Thankfully it was on that list.
