        Southwark cathedral, and the excellent adjacent borough market. they have a lot of variety, and some real upmarket stuff. gastro heaven. You can hit most of these places while walking along the south bank, which is something worth doing in itself

          I'll always pop in the Tate modern if Im passing, just to see what they have done with the enormous turbine hall space this time. (which the web site says is currently closed, hmm)

                              The Spreakles Organ Pavilion also built in 1914; it's an outdoor theater with an in place pipe organ.


                              The Prado or colonnade in Balboa Park also built in 1914 as part of Balboa Park.
