      Other than the Washington Monument:


      I love the world war II memorial. Some people think they did an awful job but I think it's spectacular. And it's across the Reflection Pool from my third-favorite:

        Face it guys, you can't top Washington DC in terms of landmarks. We have one for just about every important event in American history.

              My favorite though is the Capitol building. Not a monument to a person or deifying a president, just the working, beating heart of our republic.
