Yes I wish CBS would advertise their slant. I actually think FOX is more honest and open in that regard.

I like fox news. Yes its opinion/analysis shows are very conservative, but the news coverage isn't really biased in my opinion, rather it is the way they prioritize stories that makes it seem biased. I personally don't mind my news channel giving me information in the order I would prefer. That said I don't only watch/read fox news.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

Fox News has repeatedly altered news stories to change what they're reporting on. They've no credibility and no one should ever, ever treat them as a news source -- only as an entertainment source.Originally posted by Hauldren Collider View PostI like fox news. Actually CBS was found guilty of the same thing.
And I think 'repeatedly' may be a touch excessive.
No I don't want to seem to be supporting FOX because there have been some issues, but not enough to totally dismiss them. If so, CBS should have been dimissed a long time ago. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I don't know anything about CBS news because I'm not 80 years old."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I'm not either. Yet

So if CBS punished anchors for being biased, what's the problem?
Fox News promotes them.

I like the way they blatantly make up stuff and treat opinions as facts. That's always fun.Originally posted by Hauldren Collider View PostI like fox news. Not a problem. Just an admission that they were biased. All news channels are to a degree. You guys make it sound like Fox is the only one. I'm just pointing out others. But yeah, I'll agree Fox is more often. But that doesn't invalidate everything they report on.Originally posted by Prince Asher View PostSo if CBS punished anchors for being biased, what's the problem?

Fox isn't just biased more often, it is more biased as well. It's like comparing corruption in China to the corruption in the US.“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”

Hmmm, Which is is worse? I'm sure there is evidence that supports either here. Probably a bad example. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
