Sorry, I thought that you kept up with the news over the last decade. Let's see there's been tainted dog food, toothpaste, medicine, and children's toys that have all been publicized greatly. Collapsed buildings due to inferior construction from avoiding building code regulations. Ghost towns build with public funds. Regular bribing that is only punished to make political points. Hell, bribing for just about everything from police activity to marriage certificates. Nepotism at all levels of government (see Hu Jintao's son in Africa for a nice example). Embezzlements of millionsof dollars in Shanghai. State control of media to cover up government faux paus.

And that's just off the top of my head.

However, I guess the selling of a senate seat is far worse and tax dodging is far worse in a single city in America overshadows all of that.

It's nice to see you try to post something besides insults.

Upon reading this, they used the perception of corruption index to rank the countries. They do mention the shortcomings of this ranking due to the difficulty in quantifying it. But even then, China is just greater than twice as bad as the US, and not the order of magnitude that you were intending when you compared Fox to other news stations. And I'll take exception to their not taking into account institutionalized corruption in the US in terms of lobbyists and such. There was a long list of articles in the section on US corruption.
But I'll agree that yes China is worse, as I've noted before but no where near the difference that you originally stated.
