Sure, which means you agree with me completely, since none of that hinges particularly on where the actual line is and whether they had crossed it.

      • Except that Israel lost any moral high ground of waiting until the ships were in officially recognised Israeli controlled waters - not to mention waiting until daylight.

        • The moral right to kill 9 innocent people doesn't come from lines on a map, and if you think it does you're a monster.

I mean, WTF ??? Restraint and sound judgement ??? I spilled my coffee and almost burned one of my balls of when I heard this.

Would that be the investigation Israel is opposed to?

I didn't think there was any moral high ground left to lose in the entire Middle East.

There is never a moral right to kill innocent people - and you're calling me a monster...!?

The state of Israel is built on the blood of the innocent people it murders on a routine basis - seriously, that only 9 died this time is frankly restraint from their point of view...

                    • You are invalidly assuming that these people were innocent. Perhaps I shouldn't even bother arguing with you at this point but a) we've already established israel was allowed to board the ships and given a, we can conclude b) israel's soldiers were justified in defending themselves during the boarding action if it is true that they were mobbed by the passengers, and it seems pretty clear at this point that they were. The only moral question here is whether Israel has a right to defend itself with a blockade of Gaza and the people who actually matter--the US congress--seems to have already made up its mind.
