Please tell me BK didn't make some completely retarded reply to the good doctor's post.

I'm guessing you peaked and already know the answer and are just trying to insult his retarded comment without admitting you unignored him for a moment.

Quite the contrary; I assumed he had instead made a retarded reply to you or someone else from higher up in the thread. I had hoped, apparently in vain, that no one would be clueless enough to try to undercut Doc's story.

I'm guessing Guynemer keeps mistaking 'comment' for ignore.

Fine, you've got me on ignore. If you want to comment on my posts then take it off.

I believe I followed that "but" with a plea for a Constitutional Amendment, which, by definition, would then be in line with the Constitution. Ordinarily I'd suggest state laws should take care of it, and perhaps now there are state laws against discrimination in all states, but leaving it up to the states back in the mid-60's clearly would not have worked.

Liberals say the founding fathers wanted society to progress and wouldn't have wanted the Constitution to be an inflexible document enshrined in a glass case. I agree completely with that. However the framers created a mechanism by which that evolution is supposed to take place. Society IS different, our laws and government SHOULD change, but not by fiat, by Amendment. That's what it is there for.

This response makes no sense that I can see, and introduces the possibility that you suffer from some sort of brain damage.

Yes, Ozzy - we all know how well Southern states protected civil rights from 1880s - 1950s.

Poly is really just one giant reading comprehension test with a terrible pass rate.

I propose Poly be the standardized exam for No Child Left Behind

I guess you guys should also whine about the Equal Pay Act of 1963 while you're at it.
