HC's slippery slope argument sucks not because there isn't one, but because it requires us to permit actively, substantially harmful behavior (as in practice it is impossible to disentangle production from distribution or possession), and therefore the only proper policy is to police the line well.Comment

Just to clarify some things. Office of Film & Literature Classification is responsible for classification of all media. For games they use ESRB as the baseline and alter as required.
The classification scale is:
E - Exempt (educational, Govt, etc)
C - Children's shows
G - General viewing
PG - Parent Guidance
M - Mature
MA15+ - 15 years or older
R18+ - Restricted to 18 years +
X18+ - X-rated media (only application in Canberra and Northern Territory)
RC - Refused Classification
Computer media does not have R18+ (or X18+). Thus anything that does not fit into MA15+ is RC. The South Australian Attorney General had veto power over addition of the classification as he was a whiney extremist Christian wanker. He's been voted out of office in last month's elections purely on this issue.
A new AG in South Australia has declared interest in hearing the arguments (where the previous wanker refused to even listen to the argument). At the start of the year 100's of thousands of petition signatures were submitted to Federal Parliament to get them to legislate the classification table for all media. That's "on the agenda".
The faster we get rid of all the wanker extremist Christian Labor party Govt's the better.Comment
