As there is currently no reason to believe that practical interstellar travel is even possible, I think Dr. Hawking must be going senile. I can't think of any way to get here faster than a crawl relative to the distances, nor any way to know what's here to exploit without actually sending someone/thing here to look, nor any way to communicate with the home star system faster than a slightly-faster crawl...did my admittedly-limited physics instruction leave something really big out?

Most plausibly, not the size of Drake's penis 2 days after a blowjob.

I love that you're retarded enough to think semen flavor is an important factor in human pair-bonding. In the real world, however, your *** could taste like chocolate ice cream and KH's could taste like battery acid and Kitty would still get the girl.

In the real world she'd get the benefit of a split mortgage along with that of the chocolate ice cream. Thx for playing.

Drake, I know that you just love to let KH fill your ass, but noone has actually talked about human seamen (well, except you).

I'm sure that's going to be enough to pull her away from a physics PhD with a Goldman Sachs salary.

Can't we go one thread without discussing KH's penis?

I'm currently assuming that KH's penis is equivalent to FakeBoris' for the purposes of this argument. If FakeBoris would post in the penis size thread, however, then we could also include that factor.

Not if Drake's posting in it.

Or is that KH's exhaust pipe?

No, you didn't miss crucial parts, but "slow" moving civs that moves from one planetray system to another picking up what they need isn't that insane. It doesn't have to be biological active systems - such would probably be an annoyance.

Dammit, this is a thread with plenty of physics-tie-in potential. You didn't need to resort to dick-talk to drag Kitty into this.

It's not a real physics thread without KH or his dick.

Until they find they used up fuel and about a thousand years to get their civilization to a system with a detectable, earth-mass planet...that has no life on it. No, I'm really not buying the Independence Day hypothesis.

EDIT: Wait, you said "non-biological." Well, that eliminates that objection, while raising the much larger one of why the hell they would want Earth in the first place then.

Bright guy you are No, such a civ wouldn't need an earth like system to survive - just one with an asteroid belt or like. An biologically active system with a potetial threat would probably be considered a bad one.

EDIT: Well, you got my point. Why earth ? Why not ? Considering the latest development in detecting planets at other stars, Sun could be considered a nifty target - though we are maybe not the most obvious, but depends on the neighbourhood.

So we agree that Hawking is squawking over...sigh...nothing? I really wish I could force that to rhyme somehow.
