He found and accepted a job on the other side of the country and moved there. That was selfish, right?
I've decided to follow and will be quitting my job to move out there with him in a couple months. But my reasons are selfish: I want to continue being in the relationship.
And that's an example of a functional relationship. If he wasn't selfish, he'd still be sitting around, unemployed in Toronto trying to make me happy because I'd already settled out here.
