Iggy in the tournament failed to score goals against Switzerland, USA (2x), Slovakia and Russia, all considered to be top ranked teams. Iggy was on the first line with Crosby and only scored 1 goal more than Heatley, despite getting top line ice time and minutes. Over the course of this season, he only has 57 points, ranking him below Martin St. Louis who had 71, despite playing the same position.

As for his leadership, he was not appointed captain, Scott Neidermeyer was the captain of the team throughout the tournament.

Therefore, I argue that Canada could have done better by having St. Louis on the team than Iggy.

It was a season-ending game vs Calgary. Iginla had the Flames all come by and shake Linden's hand at the end of the game.
