His goaltending has not been spectacular. In fact, I think goaltending has been Canada's #1 weakness all tournament. Look at the stats, not that they mean anything to you. Canada's played very well most of the time, but even in the wins the goaltending have been pretty ordinary...which does not cut it in this kind of tournament where hot goalies win games.

The goaltending has been crap in two games, where Brodeur let in five, and where he let in 2 from the Swiss. You are right, but since they put Luongo in they have been much, much better in net.

Your problem is you don't know what a good goaltender looks like. You still try to claim that the 1st goal on Luongo last night was not his fault. That's a Goalie Positioning 101 error. He was not tight against the pipe, and that's why the goal went in. It was his fault, it was a bad goal.

Unlike when Brodeur was in net, Canada has had the better goaltending every game that Bobby Lou has played. Unsurprisingly, the two games when this was not the case, Brodeur was in net.

Again, the stats don't tell the full picture, especially in short games.

Halak didn't let in a softie last game. Luongo did. I'd give Halak the edge last night, even if the goaltending stats don't reflect that.

The Norwegian and German goalies were among the worst all tournament. It's no wonder he was able to score against them, but not against top calibre goaltending.
