Frankly, for CFC to remain as large and active a site/community for such on old, buggy, and graphically obsolete series as Civ for this extended amount of time is nothing short of amazing.

Well, I finally got permbanned.

It was because I talk crap about Islam and Muslims. I can talk all the crap I want about Christianity or Hindu... I could say basically anything about Jews; but, if one says something about Muslims... you can be sure... infractions are coming your way via other posts (not the religious bashing); they are very sneaky about it, never infracting the attacks on Islam and giving points elsewhere for borderline crap. Some of the mods, I suspect the top ones, are Muslim fundies. They protect people like Formaldehyde (muslim terrorist supporter and US hater) and RRW (US hater). Sometimes, they even delete pages of threads to protect them from looking completely crazy, and if you skirt the rules with those members, you WILL be hammered with infractions. Formaldehyde is like the poster boy for those fkn fundies. That place is full of pedos and wanna-be terrorists. Fk them.

I'm pretty sure I win.

I must have the most total points. I have had my 1 day ban, 2 day ban, 1 week ban, 2 week ban, 2 month ban and 6 month ban. I'm generally at the edge of the permban, with points expiring just in time for new points to put me back at the edge.

I can count them manually if you want (personal profile includes list of all infractions ever... 5 per page, I'm at 19 pages ~ 100 infractions. I joined March 07. That's ~33 infractions per year, ~3 per month.

ps. I have 15k posts.

I wouldn't be so hasty about total pointage.

Permabanned? I go off on Form far more than you do and while I am infracted I don't think I am anywhere near permabanned.

Form is the worst of the worst over there, he has not a single redeaming quality and contributes nothing of note. RRW is not in the sam class at all.

When Civ IV came out I went to CFC for the guides and information they collated, but Poly was best to get questions answered or read strategy discussions.

Wow, I never realized that mine was so easily recognizable. In any case I have only had one avatar and it is the current one. For years I just used the default AEGIS cruiser unit picture from CivIII (I use the same one at Aployton still) that the forum provides. I was always too lazy to upload an original one until a couple years ago when someone made my current one for me (unasked for, but nice of them) and that was that.

I had not intended to keep it, I have an image of Fry from Futurama I have been meaning to size for years but given that apparently I am linked to the current one I might just keep it

You just can't make up stuff like that. Unbelievable. I gave out a few cheap bans in my days, but that one is absurd, and shows why some judgement should be allowed vs. STRICT rules.
