I checked and it seems she is right Stalin did kill more people in camps (thou if you consider WW2 Hiller's fault then he's still worse, but we have plenty of warmongerors who are remebered kindly in history... would probably be her countergargument).



I may be rationalizing things, since I really like her before. She is college educated (two years older than me) with an ok job (she is straight out of college- compsci). She is rather traditional in outlook (which for the most part dosen't bother me that much) and her family is nice. Also she wants a big family (6 kids!!!) which is very rare in my country. Did I mention she is really attractive?

BTW Her mom had 3 kids and is totally a MILF.

Some do. Others rationalise it by saying that 'Stalin was worse'. Personally, I agree what Stalin did was worse, but it does nothing to redeem those responsible for the final solution.

What concerns me is her statement that "Hitler was only a bad man because the allies said he was."

That's not true at all. Hitler killing 6 million Jews is not 'victors writing history'. It's a fact. What she's said here is no different from holocaust denial.

Don't have any love for them either... my grandfather was forced into conscription and had to fight on the Eastern Front. You can imagine how well Germans treated them forcee Slavic conscripts or how much regard was shown for their lives.


My other grandfather was actually interned in a workcamp during the war and barely survived.
