6k up to 12 k based on the Bible - the 6k date comes from the genealogies but "a day of the Lord is like a 1000 years to man" could add up to 6,000 years for the days of creation depending on which day you interpret the world to have existed. The problem with that is the world was already here, it was just under water - God's "wind" or breath or spirit did something that eventually allowed the "Earth" (dry land) to appear.

the actual age ranges from 4.6 to 4.5 billion years based on meteorite ages (I think). Zircons that formed in water/oceans go back to 4.4 bya so add whatever is "reasonable" to that for a cooling off period. But something happened ~4 bya that may have put plate tectonics into motion and by ~2.5-3 bya much of the land was present.

        You feeling well?

That would be a wast of time - it's my imagination of you (one of the more horrible ones) that make you think the world is that old - in reality, the world is barely a split second older than my imagination
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

The date of creation is unknown but generally believed by creationists to be about 6000 years ago, possibly a century or 2 can be added to that, not much.

That explains how the world was made, not why it took as long as it did to make it.

The mesopotamian version of creation was written on 7 tablets - 6 devoted to creation and a 7th to praise etc the creator. And according to that creation epic, Marduk the creator passed by 5 celestial gods before battling Tiamat (the 6th celestial god) - the Earth, a byproduct of that battle - is now the 7th planet.

If just and loving god truly existed, then why would he create insufferable religious maniacs like Ben?

Are maniacs an upgrade on fanatics?
