A day for divas. Well, if it's a big gay homo posting, any day is a day for divas, I suppose.

The question is, why hasn't Marianne Faithfull covered this song ? Who knows...

i went to the rio short film festival this weekend. saw quite a lot of films, some good, some bad and some indifferent. one of the better ones was an italian film about some guys from sardinia who signed up for the italian army and found themselves in kosovo. i was very struck by the charming song which played during the final scene.

some nice stuff, suicide are amazing i really like the passions song (in fact, i think the first version i heard was the pet shop boys and sam taylor wood's cover, before i checked out the original) and that velvet acid christ track that laz posted was quality too.

Far away in time. It's Vancouver, it's a beachside barbecue and it's sunny. Good friends, good weather and this music comes across the waters...

Teutonic harmonics. Fond memories of open roads and this blasting out on the speakers...

I last saw her on the District Line at Whitechapel Station. I believe she's retrained as a psychotherapist, or some such. Pity, with such a big, big soul voice.

I also like videos with fit boxers in.
