Why would it be superstitious?

It's not like, "oh I said the wrong prayer and I didn't get the job." That's not how prayer works. Prayer is just a way of talking with God. He would pray to God saying something like, I really need the job, help me get it. That's it. No walking around afraid of mirrors, or black cats or ladders.

Just need to remember to gouge an eye out every time an attractive woman walks by so you don't go to hell when you die.

Oh, and I had two more calls and an additional email about job offers today. WTF!?! Nothing for months and eleven in less than a week (not counting the obviously fraudulent positions).

Okay, just had a phone interview for a job I'm drooling to get. That's why I wanted to scream. So nervous. I soooo want to be able to go into my current boss' office tomorrow and say, "I'm sorry, this isn't working out. I'm going to have to let you go."
