I only think that it is certainly plausible, without attaching a numerical probability, that wealthy twentysomethings with an afternoon of planning and some familiarity with the media could easily pull this off. FFS, with a suitcase full of cash and a clear summer break I could have pulled this off. That doesn't mean I discount the possibility of colluding and/or funding from a right-wing organization of some sort, but I'm not going to declare one scenario more probable than the other without more facts. It's just that simple.
