If it isn't systematic, which I am not saying it is, then it is run in a way that really enables corrupt people to become involved.

    Like certain police departments/etc.

And I'm surprised that anybody is still defending them, on top of the voter registration fraud issues.

Because, in spite of some bad apples, they've done a lot of good work for the most oppressed sector of society. No one has ever been able to show systemic corruption on the part of ACORN, unlike, say, the GOP.

Keep your blinders on. Have you looked at a list of all the criminal charges against Acorn employees over the last decade? I'm not going to make any comparisons, but this is some serious stuff and for you to just disregard it by claiming the other party is worse is just hilarious. You're going to be in an old folks home some day still claiming that no matter what the dems have done, it's ok because of something that happened decades ago.

From the context it seemed like she only ducked the question and stuck to DC/NY because part of the plan was to keep tight-lipped about successive videos, and that Red Eye interview indeed was before the San Bernadino and San Diego came out, not to mention there still might be others.

I'm sure it'll eventually come out, either from the duo or from ACORN itself, just how many offices did turn them down, but if the $1000-$3000 total price tag cited in the media is accurate, it wouldn't seem likely that they could have gone to many more than a dozen or so. Time will tell.

Yeah, 5 out of 100 wouldn't seem quite so bad, but it would still be indefensible.

This whole thing is hilarious. It would not have surprised me if ACORN would help a hooker get a house-- It would not surprise me if they told them to say "masseuse" or "exotic entertainer" on any needed forms. It does not shock me that they might have tips to help a girl keep money away from a pimp.

All that could be justified as "helping".

But to assist in the importation of underage girls??? wow. I understand why they would not call the poilice. Any sense that they were in cohoots with the police would probably lose them necessary trust in the community. But there is a wide range of options between trying to bust them and actively helping them.

The real reason the GOP hates ACORN, though, is because ACORN does a damn good job of getting poor people registered to vote and to the polling stations. The GOP does not want poor people voting, unless they're rural white poor.

I really don't get that whole look though. It looks unhealthy from a mental and physical perspective.
You pretty much get a tan after standing outside for ten minutes here in Florida.
