Apparently disgraced gov Mark Sanford uttered those words during a long, obtuse, and frankly weird press conference/confession that, in retrospect, I am quite sorry to have missed. I think this is possibly the coolest flaky politician quote since Kucinich's "matter and energy become spirit" hooey. The question is, what the hell does it mean?
Seems he went into this long schpiel about God's laws being meant to protect us from ourselves, so presumptively this fit into that whole section. But I can't make any semantic sense, or anything like semantic sense, out of it. Colorless green ideas dream furiously! What do you suppose he was trying to say?
And, more importantly, why are people always riding Obama for using a teleprompter? The alternative is crap like this!
