Yes technically nearly all food will shorten your lifespan (calorie restrictive diets are shown to increase lifespan) But as with my theory of drinking beer. If you are going to put harmful things into your body, make it count- ie make sure it tastes good. Fast food doesn't taste good. It's just something to fill you up in a hurry.
Here's the problem most americans have. they claim they don't have time. BS excuse. Make time. Considering how much time americans waste watching crappy movies and tv, they could save alot right there. preparing your own food is the best course of action. Or eat at a real restaurant (realize even there the serving sizes are too large)
One more thing in general. I'm not slamming anyone in particular- just americans in general. It is possible to skip a meal and don't die. I know most americans don't seem to realize and probably figure fast food is better than no food. But that's not true. Skipping meals doesn't cause you to overeat. I skip a meal every day and I'm losing weight. I even eat right before bedtime- another thing so called experts say not to do. I believe most of these experts are full of ****. Simply put if you consume less calories than you burn you lose weight. Yes it really is that simple. Eating 6 small meals a day like the experts say won't do **** if you aren't burning all those calories.
