Of course, the logic of Mancow's waterboarding being "fake" is silly.

This makes no sense; it was either a real waterboarding performed by someone who knows what they're doing or it wasn't. I don't know about you, but we care about facts and truth in the reality-based community.

It was waterboarding-lite. I guess that does support the idea that a conservative is too much of a ***** to undergo the real thing, but what happened in terms of the physical effect is essentially the same as full-on waterboarding: controlled drowning. There's no logical reason to believe he'd have fared any better had he been tied down at an decline--that would just make the experience worse.

Since he's a conservative who previously was a-ok with waterboarding, this doesn't make much sense. He'd get just as much publicity had he undergone the experience and come away saying "hey, it's not bad at all!" (And that wouldn't require him to eat his own words and be subjected to predictable vitriol of the Freeper crowd). Nobody to date has done that, while we already have the Hitchens full-on waterboarding showing that it is indeed torture. So the likes of Hannity, Beck and Limbaugh would be eager to exploit him as much as Olbermann is.

If you like, we can have you be waterboarded by both means, and you can tell us if there's a substantial difference?
