I've never said waterboarding isn't torture. I've clearly said that I don't know if it is or not on numerous occasions.

That would make finding a single person who has undergone it who claims it isn't even more compelling, cause right now the only people who claim it isn't are people who need to cover their asses because they authorized it or did it, and their fellow travelers. And those people are far less compelling than the the pre-existing legal precedents and the testimony of those who have undergone this procedure.

Of course, their opinion would be almost as irrelevant to any reasoned consideration of whether waterboarding is an acceptable interrogation technique or not as that of Matthew "Mancow" Muller...

And there really isn't any actual "reasoned consideration" on the issue. The 'Cheney' doctrice (as I will call it) lost the argument even in the Bush presidency, since by 2005 at the latest waterboarding had come to an end.

If the people who carried this out really buy their own crap, let them accept trial for breaking the law and have a jury or a judge decide whether it was justifiable under the circumstances.

Because until you do (actually, even if you did, it would be weighting of a singular experience vs. several ones, but still), even if Mancow's little event was nothing more than a publicity stunt, your argument that waterbording isn't torture is still a bunch of **** (like so many of your arguments)
