What? You said it's totalitarianism to torture a foreign combatant who murdered over 3500 Americans and knows of plans to kill countless more. You're an idiot and you're probably fat too.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

What Christian nutjobs that ordered the deaths of millions? . . . i.e., the American government.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

So really you're in a bind because we've claiming that when other people waterboard that it is torture and so we've had them executed or arrested but you're claiming when we do it then it's ok. You don't see the hypocrisy there?Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Do you have evidence that Christ himself released people from the cross prior to his own crucifixion? Christ himself said, that you should avoid taking a brother to court, because justice would not be served. Disputes should be settled among the brethren without recourse to the secular authorities.
Christ always drew a clear line between the secular authorities, "render unto Caesar", and between the church. Now if you asked me if the church were justified in engaging in torture, I would say no. But wrt to the civil authorities and the state, that's an entirely different issue.Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10
