      Luftwaffe?

      Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte, yes. The Imperial German air force.

      Luftwaffe didn't come into place until 1932.

            There was a German ace who, early in the war, wrote the manual for German fighter pilots, but I can't remember his name. He was shot down and kill in about the middle of the war. Who was it?? Was it Immelmann?
