What I did, I did in protest against the admins (in reality two of them). The details do not need to be known, but the staff know exactly the situation leading up to what happened. Let's just say my conclusion to a staff argument that has been raging off and on for over a year.

Dale is a fragile little man. There is not much to it. There was nothing big to cause this, there was no excessive drama. I think it all started back to a thread where I *****ed about how awful a game Colonization was and Dale went to extraordinary lengths to open his ******* for Firaxis' pounding. I called him out on it and summarily schooled him (he refused to admit the game was flawed, even after his mod was useful primarily for fixing obvious flaws in the game).
