I'd bet against Europe revolting, except maybe Ukraine which is in awful shape.

The rest of us have enough on the side to enjoy the summer and survive until winter.

But if you blue-eyed Americans don't fix the world economy by September, it could well be a winter of spectacular riots.

Despite maybe sounding rediculous today, given half a decade or so of ongoing crises, the danger is genuine, Heresson. It is now, that the EU really shows its value: Even if it should fail to overcome the crises efficiently, it will keep its members from trying to violentely shove their losses onto their neighbors.

About the crisis itself, i will point out once more: It is not the result of the misbehaviour of a certain group of people. In 29 in wasnt the jews, and in 08 it was not the bankers - it´s part of the system, and intrisic to it. To not believe that is like believing the moon gets eaten and then spat out by some celestial monster each time in the course of a month, when in fact the shadow on it is induced by earth itself, and if it wasnt there, there would be no earth as well (meaning the shadow is an intrinsic part of the system and not induced by something acting outside of it).

I'm sorry, but this part completely spoiled an otherwise excellent post for me.

Well the point is, and i probably put it in sub-optimal words: It is our own shadow - not some monster.

And my point is that the phases of the Moon have nothing to do with Earth casting a shadow.

I feel like being that roomie i once had. In some quiz show there was the question, what appears to be larger, when seen from earth, the sun or the moon. They appear to be quite the same size, but my roomie then asked, which one would really be bigger. That really made me forget all courtesy and i was like droping my jaw and slaping my forehead - asking her if she was kidding me. She really was remarkably stupid for a student in her twenties. Once, and i kid you not(!), she was trying to get out of my car, but wondered why she couldnt - i then told her to unfasten her seatbelt first. That´s how stupid i feel now.

EDIT: But i guess it will make me remember. So that´s a good thing.

Also, you would be the first to demand generous severance packages and benefits for laid off workers, even if those workers were laid off because of a company's overall lack of productivity. I fail to see why they should get a severance package - and why you seem to be defending KIDNAPPING, of all things, in pursuit of it (here we call that kidnapping for ransom, and it's a serious crime) - but people who happen to be richer shouldn't get a pension.

Rich is a 4 letter word, but it isn't a bad word. We need more rich people, not less.
Dude, there's one really simple answer to all your questions. Che is a moronic tool with no intellectual integrity.

Che, why is this a good thing?
Do you wish for a class struggle type of revolt with people being killed?

Bc1871 and rtwinger in the same thread, back to back. I thought that violated the laws of DL-dynamics. Kind of like crossing the streams.
