    • You know, back in the 16th century, it was deduced that if people lived in a communist society, that they would only have to work ~6 hours per day.

Now we have trucks, and GM foods, and tractors, and factories, and all sorts of other things.

How much do we work per day?

I'd say 2001. There's no need for a capitalist system since then. We've just been spinning our wheels.

          • I thought that it was known that russia wasn't the ideal place for the revolution? It was just one of the places where

            1. The people were pissed off enough to revolt.
            2. Communists gained the upper hand.

              • Then why take the cake out of capitalism before it was ready?

1.) My posts, by definition, are not other people's posts.

2.) It is not my fault everything that comes out of your mouth can be accurately quoted as such. This thread stands as solemn testament to that fact.

Why bother to revolt if there are no such enemies ? and since there always will be such, then the authoritarian system will be the result.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Well, the fact is that you can use a communist system to create wealth, but it's going to be on the backs of the poor, just as it is in a capitalist system.

IMO, a capitalist system is better for creating wealth.

If you want to pop off a couple of post #s go ahead. I'm not going to respond unless you get serious. The fact is that you don't have ****, and you're just acting like you do.

The stronger the enemies the stronger the voice will be for those who call for strong government.

We stopped being serious the second you pretended you could void Vels polite and well reasoned rebuttals to your confused musing witht he wave of your hand. Now I am just highlighting your ignorance.

Oh yeah, and you also hand waving all historical examples of your precious revolution utterly failing is also humorous.

So they knew the cake wasn't big enough, but went for the less effective system anyway?
