What people wear in McDonald's

I was eating at a McDonald's yesterday, Sunday at noon, in Little Rock. It was full of trashy people who looked like they'd just fallen out of their trailers, which is what you'd expect to see at any other time of the week.
But Sunday lunch people should be coming in wearing suits and dresses right? Church clothes. At least, that's how it was back home. Yes, families eating in Taco Bell wearing suits. I never really thought that might be a local thing only, but apparently so.
So I've come up with three hypotheses to explain this. You guys tell me which makes the most sense.
a) People in Little Rock are Godless heathens that don't go to church other than Christmas or Easter.
b) Churchgoers in Little Rock think they're too fancy to take their Sunday lunch at a fast food joint. I will admit, the thought of holy sacrament sharing space in your gut with a Big Mac does make me think twice now.
c) Churches in Little Rock have really lowered their standards and are welcoming fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ in their jorts and Hooters t-shirts now.
You guys need to tell me quick. I've been trying to find a way to tell them off since yesterday. None of the same people are even here anymore and I've missed my first day of classes.
Thanks
And I suspect you had to pass through the 20th Century to get there...Speaking of Erith:

You've lived in a small town with it's own culture. Going to McD in fancy clothes (in any day of the year) isn't mainstream at all.
I know, right? And yet for all the **** that flies down there, I haven't made any progress deciding if I would want "the real world" to be more or less like home. The past 36 hours the real world has included ****ty drivers, people who don't know how they look in public, and going back to locking doors, not to mention just returning to the grind.
I guess in a way I can be glad for the amount the rest of the world has progressed if I could've pretty much just posted "church clothes" and gotten a barrel of laughs, but I think you guys are missing out on more than I was.
No need to get bitter, in a free society people decide what sort of culture they want to create and support. If your hometown has a superior culture, then it's populated by better people.

Quick question:
If Christ had walked into that McDonald's last Sunday, would He have sat down with you or with the trailer trash? I haven't been to a Sunday service in nearly 30 years, but even I know the answer to that one..."I have as much authority as the pope. I just don't have as many people who believe it." — George Carlin

Frankly, visiting a MacDonald's, you get what you deserve...

Actually, church?
Welcome to the real world.
EDIT: Reading on, i must agree with the OP, that when you come from one of the few places that could be called ´socialy healthy´ still, to a place that is just like the rest of the world has come to be, the experience leaves you with a desire for ´home sweet home´. It´s the feeling i always have, when i go reading meters in trashy Gelsenkirchen, were hotel-managers greet you wearing arm-less underwear tops adorned with (probably fake-)gold chains, serve you stale bread each morning and fill-up yesterdays milk without dumping the old one.

People go to McD wearing the clothes they fell out of bed with, I have NEVER seen anyone dress up to go to McD...
... and I haven't seen this thing you call "church clothes" either. People wear in church what they wear any other day of the week (well, unless there's something special like a funeral, etc). The only place I have ever seen "church clothes" was in The Simpsons
I believe I have never seen anyone wearing suits in a McD restaurantThis space is empty... or is it?

Hmmm... I find it weird that people don't know what mrmitchell is taking about. Never heard of "Sunday's Best"? If they were going to McD's after church, they wouldn't be wearing their regular stuff... unless they don't dress up for church... which is different.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

And people who goes to church doesn't go to McDs. McD is a place where young people go, church is a place where old people goThis space is empty... or is it?

I've seen it quite often on Sundays.
It's a small town thing. Little Rock is 'too big'.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

People do things weird in your area.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
