I didn't want to hijack Wiglaf's thread but as long as people are using this forum for their one-off rants, I'll shoot.
I was eating at a McDonald's yesterday, Sunday at noon, in Little Rock. It was full of trashy people who looked like they'd just fallen out of their trailers, which is what you'd expect to see at any other time of the week.
But Sunday lunch people should be coming in wearing suits and dresses right? Church clothes. At least, that's how it was back home. Yes, families eating in Taco Bell wearing suits. I never really thought that might be a local thing only, but apparently so.
So I've come up with three hypotheses to explain this. You guys tell me which makes the most sense.
a) People in Little Rock are Godless heathens that don't go to church other than Christmas or Easter.
b) Churchgoers in Little Rock think they're too fancy to take their Sunday lunch at a fast food joint. I will admit, the thought of holy sacrament sharing space in your gut with a Big Mac does make me think twice now.
c) Churches in Little Rock have really lowered their standards and are welcoming fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ in their jorts and Hooters t-shirts now.
You guys need to tell me quick. I've been trying to find a way to tell them off since yesterday. None of the same people are even here anymore and I've missed my first day of classes.
Thanks
