not true, because i is a complex number, the root of -1.

from euler's formula you derive: e^(i*x) = cos(x) + isin(x) and then
if you put (x=pi) you get e^(i*pi) = cos(pi) + i*sin(pi) = -1 + i*0 = -1.

Gosh, Winston! Send this pic to the senate of Hamburg! The tunnels going below the Elbe are often clogged, because some truck triggered the ´height-control´, which i assume to be some laser set-up. That sign is cheaper, and it makes sure, the driver notices something is wrong, before it´s too late.
