I just really need to point out that if any man used the "Mystery Method" that Hera's talking about on me, I would seriously kick the crap out of his manly bits. I watched the TV show, I understand the method, and it's great if you are trying to lay drunk 19 yr old girls who have no boundaries or morals. However, for normal women it is flat out manipulation and I HATE IT.

The only thing worth keeping is the self-confidence stuff. If you believe yourself to be a loser, other people will believe it to, so portray confidence (not arrogance though) and women will be attracted to you.

As for the original topic of this thread...I believe that in general the appetites of men and women are quite similar. However, I don't like the idea of talking about how your partner is in bed behind his/her back so I don't officially endorse this thread.

Like I said Mystery was a placebo. I really needed it to get socialised. And that is one thing the method does encourage. Its a system designed to get you laid with beautifull women with as little effort as possible. But try to imagine you are desperate shy individual. Try to see what a confidence boost it is when you realize "hey I'm not unwanted! Girls like me!".


Also its very helpfull to find something that teaches you how to flirt properly.
For example my problem is that I'm very polite and nice in RL. That is why I would always end up being the friend. What Mystery really taught me was
that you actually need to touch the girl in order for her to realize you are a romantic option. I had no idea how to do that.


I firmly stand that bits of the method can and should be used. What is wrong with some people learning a trick or two from books as opposed to getting them from an older friend or brother?

PS I didn't use any of the pickup lines or routines to get into my current relationship. I actually didn't use mystery at all, like I said I don't need it anymore and I prefer stable relationships to one night stands. But I am certain that I needed it very badly two years ago.

What a load of misogynistic self justifying bull****. Consistent though, I guess. It's ok to treat women like crap if they let you is basically the same as it's ok to rob Walmart* if they let you.

Most women date arseholes is just a myth. You've just stated that if someone gives you evidence that disproves your myth you'll tell them they are lying or an exception that proves the rule. ie. you've decided it's true and won't hear anything contradictory. Bull****.

Some women make bad choices, some men make bad relationship choices but you don't get people saying women should be a real ***** to get a man. It's great for some men to push this to generalise their sexism. And it's amazing how often people think the other guy who is going out with the girl they like is a total arsehole, not a nice guy like them. It's kind of comforting in a way isn't it, well, I can't get a nice girlfriend 'cause I'm too nice. Yeah... well maybe us men should look at ourselves a bit harder.
